overall personality: alex is rather complicated. she puts on a smile, but, really, she's broken inside because she lost her child. she's a bit of a trainwreck, but, she's sworn to never drink alcohol again, well, she got off it originally because she was pregnant. alex, otherwise, is rather happy, she's a bit hyper and silly, and she loves sugar, but she's rather nice when you get to know her. although, she can be a bitch and throw punches if she wants to, so don't be fooled. she's also rather talkative, too.

more about losing her child, well, that broke her heart. she has trust issues, so it takes her a really long time to trust people, and she's somewhat afraid of being in love, mainly because she's had her heart broken [by the baby's father]
because of losing her child, that caused her to develop depression, so she has to take pills for it everyday, but she has "forgotten" to take the pills in the past, once for months at a time, leading to her attempting suicide, but she's a bit of a coward when it comes to stuff like that. she self harms when she forgets to take her medication, but, it's been a while since that's happened. she's gotten good at hiding all of the above, though.

overall history: alex kirby was born to two well, rather happy parents. she lived a normal childhood, her life somewhat perfect. of course, her family had the usual agrument or two, but hey, what family is completely perfect? she wasn't freakishly intelligent, well, she was in music. the girl never learnt to read music, instead, she had her music teacher teach her how to play the guitar. she picked up reading music eventually, and she's not brilliant, but she's not bad by any stretch, just she never officially "learnt" to read it. alex alternated between guitar and bass, she found guitar easier to play, though. anyhow...

around the age of fourteen, she started to get into the party scene, and she was fine for ages. it was only when she turned fifteen, did things start to go...well...wrong.

she got into selling drugs, [becomes relevant later] and all that other stuff. she once got hospitalized for an overdose, but anyhow, one night, she was partying, drunk, and she did it with her boyfriend. she wasn't a virgin at that point. she got pregnant though, and like any fifteen year old, she was absolutely terrified. she made up her mind to keep it. anyhow, somehow, her parents found out, and well, they told her to go. she packed her clothes and left, totally clueless as to where she would go. she went to her boyfriend's house, but her boyfriend's mother didn't want to know her, because she was pregnant, so, she went to her grandmother's. her grandmother forced her to stop drinking. she pretended to around her, but she kept drinking, partying, and selling drugs. she got a job, and got her life back on track kind of, hiding what she did, but, one night, she collapsed, for no reason. she was in hospital for a week, until she eventually lost her child. nobody knows why she lost it, though, the alcohol is probably to blame. she got put in juvenile detention not long after, which is why she stopped selling drugs, and she hasn't touched drugs or alcohol since getting out, but since then, she's been diagnosed with depression, and so she has to take pills for it, and really, she's still broken inside about losing her child. it makes her feel like a failure. she hasn't told her boyfriend, she hasn't talked to him since, and nobody on the tour knows she was pregnant, nobody knows she sold drugs, and that's the way she wants it to stay.
