'CAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHENEVER YOU'RE NEAR OH BABY, YOU MAKE ME JUST WANNA YOU MAKE ME WANNA PIN YOU DOWN AND TEAR YOU APART
Okay. Who ever decided that doing tequila shots last night was a real asshole.
More so, whoever decided to take down Roxy's curtains that she had put up specifically to block out each ray of sunlight that tried to enter her bunk was an even bigger asshole. If it wasn't for them, she most certainly wouldn't be awake this early. Taking a glance on her phone, Roxy discovered that it was 1:19pm. Ew.
Yawning slowly, she stretched her arms up above her head and touched the wall, arching her back. She collapsed in her pile of blankets, pillows and sheets and sighed. Her head was pounding, and the sunlight that was trying desperately to get in her eyes wasn't helping.
Knowing that it would be completely useless to try and go back to sleep now, Roxy reluctantly dragged herself out of bed and pushed back the curtain that separated her little bunk from everyone else's. The girl slipped on her Hello Kitty slipped and pulled on hoodie, leaving it unzipped over her t-shirt and shorty shorts. Roxy and Gid had set the air conditioning on the bus all the way up the other night, because they liked it better cold.
She stumbled out slightly into the bus, ruffling her black hair absentmindedly as she looked around. Hmm. That was odd. Both Marco and Gideon's curtains were open, and they were gone. Normally, when they partied the night before, Marco and Gid woke up long after her. Even though Gid didn't drink, he still slept in a lot. Leaning forward, Roxy got a look down the isle. Oh shit. Lucas's curtain was still closed.
Fuck, was she really there alone with him?
Roxy couldn't deny it even if she tried; she had a definite crush on him. But who knew if her even saw her that way? She was practically one of the guys, with sex appeal. She hated hanging around girls. They brought far too much drama.
Lucas was the drummer of the band, she he was just so fucking cute. Roxy couldn't handle it. Even though she was a guitar and bass tech, she still stayed on the bus with them; they were her friends. Biting on one of her lip rings, Roxy wiped underneath her eyes to get rid of any stray makeup and walked out to the fridge.
Opening it up, Roxy wrinkled her nose at the sight of some moldy cheese in the back, and took out a tupperware container of her salad. After thorough inspection to make sure Marco nor Gideon had tampered with it, Roxy added italian dressed and salt and pepper, and grabbed a fork. She reached into the fridge again to grab a can of Red Bull, and she set it on the counter as well.
Just as Roxy was about to eat her breakfast, she had stretched back and run her hands over her stomach; a habit of hers. When she noticed the absence of her bellybutton ring, she grew confused. "Really?" Roxy said quietly, sighing as she looked around for it.
Roxy walked down the aisle, towards Lucas's room, and she didn't see it. She checked Gideon and Marco's room; nothing. Sighing and rubbing her throbbing forehead, Roxy got down on all fours and searched the floor down the aisle, heading back towards the main part of the bus. It had to be here somewhere.

Glass hailed from the sky tonight,
I couldn't hide to save my life.[/blockquote][/blockquote] Standing drenched from open wounds.
You took my hand, and pulled me through.
Whoever had turned the air condition on last night wasn’t going to hear the end of it. The sound of rustling blankets woke him, and as soon as he became conscious of his surroundings he bit back the thousands of swear words pleading to get out. Normally cold temperatures didn’t affect him, he actually preferred them but not in the morning during a horrible hangover, and while his covers were no where to be seen. What the hell is the time anyways.
He combed his fingers through his hair, struggling to decide what he should do. It would be impossible to fall back asleep in this kind of condition, but at the same time his head was pounding too hard for him to muster up strength to get up. For a good amount of time the boy just lay there, somewhat awake, staring up at the bare ceiling above him.
Finally the silence just became awful and he found himself propping his elbows underneath his body. With a simple push he was leaning up in his bunk, with his face in his hands. Luke was dreading the welcome he’d get on the other side of his dark curtain. A fist full of sunshine. Oh how godamn better that would make his head feel. But he knew he couldn’t just sit there in the shade forever. Biting his lip he grasped the curtain and pulled it down from its hanger. He slipped down from the frame and once more he pressed his face back into his hands. It was a couple of seconds before he finally convinced himself to search for a sweater, or any type of warm material.
The only thing he was currently wearing was a pair of boxers and a tight black tee with the words “scorched flesh” on it(something he had gotten from one of his first concerts). It was basically the outfit he had came home in from the party last night, minus the missing pants which had been left god knows where. Speaking of the party, it concerned Luke that he couldn’t remember one single thing. Usually it was vague about what had taken place but he could recall a couple details. Now he couldn’t even remember how he had made it home in one piece…
Lucas knew he had an addiction to alcohol, and he knew it was progressing for the worse, but he also knew that at the moment there was shit he could do about it. So instead of standing in the empty room pitying himself he stumbled into the other room, his left hand still shielding half his face.
It was then that he noticed all the other bunks empty. For a moment he wondered if there was some band practice he had missed and how much he’d get shit for it…That was until he noticed the girl exiting the room on all fours. Almost instantly luke’s eyes were wide and he sub-consciously found himself following till they were on the main part of the bus. In the back of his mind he knew the girl on her hands and knees was Roxy, but he had never received a view of her like this before and as much as he wanted to continue to watch her search the grounds for something he knew how immoral it was.
But since when had Luke been a good guy? Still he cleared his throat, his eyes shifting from her to the wall. “Um, Do you need help looking for something?” His voice trembled for a moment and he coughed again. He wasn’t sure why he felt so awkward but he fiddled with the hem of his shirt as he waited for a reply, glancing over once again.

'CAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHENEVER YOU'RE NEAR OH BABY, YOU MAKE ME JUST WANNA YOU MAKE ME WANNA PIN YOU DOWN AND TEAR YOU APART
Roxy had absolutely no idea how she was supposed to find her stupid bellybutton ring on this bus. From Marco's random shit like stuffed animals, slinkies, shirts... anything. And then there were empty cans of blue AMP everywhere from where Gid had tried to throw them into the garbage can from across the room. Pillows from pillow fights, empty bags of chips, clothes. The bus was a mess. She didn't have much to do today, the crew was busy setting up for the gig the next day, so she had a day off. Maybe Roxy could clean the bus.
Then again... that's putting an awful amount of energy into picking up the messes of the other band members. Marco sure as hell wouldn't clean up. Gideon might, if he got frustrated with it enough.
Hmm. Gideon.
Roxy wasn't quite sure what she thought about that boy. They had ended up in bed together on more than one occasion. When she was around him, Roxy just felt the need to be bad. She never ever thought about her consequences for the actions she made around him, ever.
Then again, when it came to boys, Roxy wasn't the smartest sometimes. For example, her recent encounter was with a boy named Iggy, a guitarist and singer for the band, Pens and Paper. Or was it Paper and Pens? It had something to do with office supplies, and Roxy really didn't care about the details. No matter what band it was, Roxy had made a mistake. They had been good friends before that day, and had always sort of flirted with each other. But Roxy had trust issues; it took a long time for people to get in the like with her.
For some reason, he asked her out, and she had said yes. For some reason, they had sex. For some reason, he had a small dick and Roxy had to fake it. For some reason, Roxy got emotional, and for some very unknown reason to her, Iggy had gotten too angry about nothing too fast, kept putting words in her mouth, and ended the "relationship" by calling her dirty names as she left.
Roxy just hoped that Iggy considered himself lucky for not having to run away from her to avoid getting the fuck beaten out of him that night. But if she ever saw him again, Roxy wasn't gonna let anyone hold her back. No one was gonna talk to her like that and get away with it. Naturally, the whole band knew about her blip of mental retardation: she had come home in a rage and eventually calmed down. In her eyes, it wasn't even a relationship. She had better things to have on her mind; aka Lucas.
Pushing all of this from her mind, Roxy sighed huffily and continued crawling down the aisle, with her head low and her ass high, looking for that god forsaken piece of metal. Her lower back wiggled along with her hips slightly as she crawled in a very feline manner, and Roxy had no luck at all.
Speaking of having bad luck, the sound of a man clearing his throat behind her very gently reached her ears. Fuck.
Roxy felt a pink blush crawl up her cheeks as she slowly realized that Luke was awake and standing behind her."Um, Do you need help looking for something?” Why did he sound so weirdly uncertain? Hmm, waking up to Roxy crawling around on the floor in shorty shorts. That could do it.
The girl glanced at him over her shoulder and laughed quietly; it was pretty funny, she had to admit. "Uh, kinda," she said, ruffling her black hair as she stood up on her feet, some few inches shorter than him. Roxy pushed up the sleeves of her sweatshirt to her elbows and left it unbuttoned. The whole band had seen her dance around in her underwear at least three times each, so there was no chance he didn't know what she was talking about. "Have you seen my bellybutton ring? The, uh, the black star one?"

The band was close; they all seemed comfortable with each other and could normally tolerate each other. Luke was just slightly less comfortable then all the others. He could never really see himself confiding in any of the guys on tour with him; well mostly because he’s never tried. He’ll attend a party or two with them every now and then. It’s not that the boy doesn’t like his band mates; it’s actually quite the opposite. Having a closer bond to them has always appealed, but he’s just never really gone out of his way to get to know them in that kind of best-friend brotherly type. He’s slightly always worried to open up to them, concerned of being rejected, so he keeps to himself and mostly hangs out with other people he’s met on tour. The majority of them being girls.
Lucas isn’t too much of a man whore; compared to some of the other guys on tour he could actually be viewed as a saint. He has had his fair share of random hook ups and one night stands, but he doesn’t make a regular routine of it. Constant flirting is more of his kind of deal. Which is what he tends to do with the girls on their crew. Besides Roxy.
To him, Roxy has always been the girl he’d like to be with, maybe just have a night with, or a small relationship. Either way, he liked her. But it was nothing he was going to attempt to pursue, after all he wasn’t sure how understanding the other guys on tour would be, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to find out. There was always that small part in the back of his head that wondered how she felt about him. He pushed the thoughts away before they became too dominant, and always told himself it was silly to imagine a girl as amazing as Roxy could like a guy like him, but some part of him always made him smile when her name was mentioned, or cause him to be consumed by a fit of jealousy when other guys tried to make moves on her.
For once he wished he could just come clean to someone about everything. For fifteen years he’s been keeping every single emotion that has ran through his body locked away in his mind, for only himself to witness. Never once has he spoken a word about his father to anyone on the tour, nor had he ever confessed to having a drinking problem; even though he was well aware of the fact. There were millions of things he desperately wanted to rid himself of, but the chance had never arisen.
Biting his lip he combed through his messy black hair once more, as the thoughts developed his headache. Pulling himself away from all the worries he focused his attention back on to the girl who was now rising up from the floor. He had heard her laugh, and he couldn’t help but let a smirk spread across his face also. It was definitely not what he expected to wake up to, but he also definitely had no complaints about it.
She mentioned her bellybutton piercing and he could almost instantly picture her performing one of her dance routines. He nodded softly, thinking of where it could possibly be. “Well, I doubt we will find it in this mess.” His hand motioned to the garbage flooded room, which he honestly had to take some of the blame for too; seeing as how his various energy drinks lay scattered around, along with a few pairs of clothes which he had been too lazy to put away.
“But if you want to try, I got no problem helping.” He had nothing better to do at the moment anyways, besides pop a few pills and scavenge for some type of alcoholic drink to make an effort to soothe the strength of his headache. Speaking of his headache, he never really noticed how much it had started throbbing. He really must have downed more booze then he imagined.

'CAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHENEVER YOU'RE NEAR OH BABY, YOU MAKE ME JUST WANNA YOU MAKE ME WANNA PIN YOU DOWN AND TEAR YOU APART
When it came down to it, boys were just stupid. Most of the time they only cared about one thing, they didn't know nearly as much about girls as they think they do, they were messy, smelly, rude, and frustrating. But it was far better than hanging out with girls. Roxy couldn't handle all of that girly drama and gossip. It was all just pointless.
Hanging out with boys wasn't exactly drama-free either. Being the only girl on the Mess Of Me bus, Roxy was faced with drama quite often. Gid was overly possessive of Roxy, and she knew that Luke was jealous. But Roxy and Gid had had a long talk one night while they were alone on the bus. She knew that they wouldn't work out. Gid wasn't ready for commitment and even if he wanted to try it out, Roxy couldn't be an experiment for him. She needed certain things in a relationship, along with certain wants, and she knew that Gid couldn't handle that.
Roxy wanted someone who couldn't get enough of her, and she wouldn't be able to get enough of him either. She wanted someone to laugh with; to wrestle around just for fun, arm wrestle, take walks with, make music (and love) together. The majority of the sex that she's had has been somewhat senseless; she hasn't really done it with a meaning in a long time. And she missed that. Roxy wanted someone who will push her up against the wall and kiss her like it'd be the last time he's seeing her, all just because he wanted a kiss. Someone who she could talk to, tell everything to; have inside jokes and secrets. She wanted to snuggle and laugh, and wanted someone who would make her feel better after she started crying while she watched animal abuse commercials. Most of all, Roxy wanted someone she could trust. Building trust with her took a long time, and she wanted someone who would stick around long enough for that.
Roxy knew that Gid couldn't do that for her. He was way too inexperienced in relationships. He wasn't the guy she was looking for. But Luke... Roxy couldn't quite figure him out. She knew for sure that he made her nervous; made her blush and feel a little jittery when he was around.
And did he completely forget the fact that he kissed her?
Roxy sure as hell hadn't forgotten. She remembered it perfectly; they had been sitting in her bunk, discussing her relationship with Gideon. His hand found it's way to rest on her leg, and his other hand found hers. They had looked at each other for awhile, called each other cute, and Roxy had been blushing quite a lot. And when Luke kissed her.. her heart was beating so fast that Roxy thought it was going to burst out of her chest. Her stomach was doing flips like crazy, and yet, Roxy had managed to remember to sweetly return his kiss all the same. Her body had acted before her mind caught up, and all together, it had kept Roxy smiling the rest of the night.
But of course, it was just a kiss. In his eyes, it could mean anything. Roxy had kissed loads of people as just friends. It was just the fact that she had feelings for him that made her feel that way. She sure didn't want to seem clingy, so when Luke hadn't brought it up again, neither did she.
“Well, I doubt we will find it in this mess.” “But if you want to try, I got no problem helping.”
Biting on her lip absentmindedly, Roxy smiled at him, looking at him perhaps for a bit longer than she should have before looking away and blushing slightly. "Nah, you're right. We have less of a chance finding it if we make any more of a mess," she said, walking back over to the counter where her salad and drink was. The girl grabbed a fork and held it between her teeth, walking to the couch, drink in one hand, salad in the other. Roxy sat down indian style and stabbed the leaves with the fork. "I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere," she added, giving him another soft smile before looking down and taking a bite of her salad.
