overall personality: jonah is one of those people who has an infectious personality, meaning you just can't help but love him. almost everything he does it meant to get laughs because he just enjoys making people happy. the outlandish behavior and jokes isn't just for making people happy, though, it's just genuinely how jonah acts. sometimes people can find him a little bit irritating, though, since he'd doesn't often know when to stop. even though the boy is eighteen, technically and adult, he still likes to act like he's a preteen sometimes. he's got no sense of responsibility, and sometimes people hate on him for that.

there isn't really a mean side to him, but he can get passionate about causes he supports such as vegetarianism. he isn't running around throwing red paint on people who wear fur, but if he sees you with something leather on prepare to get a lecture on EXACTLY how leather is made. he's very outspoken when it comes to things he likes, and he isn't afraid to voice when he doesn't like what's going on. the only way, really, to get him upset is to hurt someone in front of him. he's a pretty happy dude, some making someone unhappy is not something he likes. he'll stand up for that person, even if he doesn't know them, because he believes everyone is entitled to happiness.

overall history: monica haynes had jonah at the age of eighteen. she knows who the father is, but despite many attempts to get in contact with him while jonah grew up she just could never find him. instead of lying to her son she told him the truth as soon as he started to ask a lot of questions, about age six, and she simple told him that his father just didn't want to be a father.

fortunately for her six year old jonah was already a pretty solid little dude, and this sudden knowledge didn't phase him too much especially since monica had bought her son a bulldog puppy to soft him up a bit before hand. growing up with no bothers or sisters judd the bulldog was jonah's constant companion. he spent more time playing with his dog than playing with anything or anyone else, and over the years the bond between dog and boy grew so strong that ten year old jonah decided he would never eat meat again because he didn't want to hurt any of judd's animal friends.

jonah had always been super social growing up, going around with giant crowds of friends because he just attracted people like a magnet attracts metal. he wasn't super popular because he was a great athlete, or super gorgeous, it was simply because he's just got an irresistible personality. he's just like a little puppy that you can't help but care for. in his teenage years he started going to parties with his friends, always being the center of attention, and amazing people with how crazy he could be withing having to drink or do drugs. those two things had never really interested him, and he never really felt the need to try them.

his first and last job before he joined break bones break hearts was at an organic food shop run by one of his mother's very good friend. after a few weeds of eating there he decided he start eating only organic after hearing countless horror stories. he'd already been a vegetarian for a good number of years, so jonah just saw this as the next step.

throughout high school he played the drums, first picking them up his freshman year when there was a shortage of kids signed up for band and his music teacher had pretty much begged him. to be honest jonah wasn't all that into it at first, but after a few months when he learned a few things he'd never put down his drumsticks and would pretty much just bang on any flat surface. when a couple of his very best friends brought up the idea of starting a band it was obvious that jonah would make a beast drummer. after a few gigs them were making enough money so that he could quit his organic food job, and after a few more weeks he hit the road with them touring around the country.
