OVERALL: landon is sort of a difficult person to understand. he can be very egotistical and a womanizer, and at the same time he can be the most loyal, caring person you've met. at a young age he was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), which leads to him becoming easily bored, and his attention span is quite short at times. as he has grown, it has gotten easier to deal with and function with, though as a child he was the one always jumping off the walls. he has always had a slight ocd issue, mostly with his music and his personal hygiene, but since making it big with his band it's seem to have become worse. especially with the cleanliness of their tour bus. he's a bit of a flirt, though when in a relationship, he'd never imagine cheating or doing anything to hurt who he's with. but, to avoid the drama, he's rarely in a relationship.

OVERALL:landon parker was born to a couple that were about as different as different gets. his father was an up-and-coming law student, who was following in his father's footsteps. his mother was a free-spirited gypsy type person, working at a local coffee shop only to save up enough money to travel the world. that's where the two met, his father, noah, used to study there. he had always been a flirt, and somehow fell for landon's mother, alaina.
the two were never anything serious, more of 'fuck buddies' or stress relievers. that was until alaina ended up pregnant. she toyed with abortion and adoption, but eventually settled on keeping the baby. she held back from telling noah until she had no other choice. noah at first denied the child as his, and even demanded a dna test once the child was born. once it was all settled that landon was the out come of the two, noah came around to the idea of fatherhood.
alaina at first was over the moon with motherhood, but eventually the gypsy inside started to burn, and alaina soon became anxious, becoming overwhelmed. she left a week before landon's first birthday. noah, now struggling as a single father and a law student, sent landon to live with his parents, his plans were to have them raise him until he graduated college.
somehow things never end up the way people plan, and once noah graduated, passed the bar, and started his career as a lawyer, having a young child didn't really fit the style of life that noah was wanting to pursue. his parents agreed to raise his son, and that was almost the end of the story. of course noah would see landon, but, as landon grew older, he never really knew noah as a father. noah would never claim him as a son, especially when he brought girls home to meet the parents.
noah was married right around the time landon turned five, and a child soon followed afterwards. it was never talked about that landon had a sister, or even landon's mother, and he never really questioned anything.
being that his grandfather was one of the biggest lawyers in new york at the time, and his father rising in the business, from a young age landon was sent to prestigious private schools, groomed to one day take over the family business. but, he was never as studious as his grandparents wished him to be. he was always easily distracted, and hyper. most would have said he was just a normal boy, but, his grandmother was determined something was wrong with him.
upon the diagnosis of adhd, things seemed to change. he was put on a daily medicine, and his mood changed from a happy, hyper kid, to a dull, almost zombie like state. this worried his grandmother even more, and she started researching alternatives to the medicine. that's when she enrolled him in a music class. first it was piano, then violin, bass, and eventually drums and singing. he thrived in the class. taking to each instrument with ease.
he could never seem to please his grandfather, he was never a brainy student. he couldn't focus in class, and even when he did, he bored easily. but music was his escape.
once high school rolled around, he and his best friend decided to form a band. being two little rich kids in the middle of a major private school in nyc, few really took them seriously. no one wanted to join with them, all too busy worrying about college or scholarships and grades. he lied to his grandmother, telling her he was at orchestra practice whenever he was with his best friend, joking around with their band. that's what it turned into, a big joke, once they realized no one would take them seriously, why would they bother taking themselves seriously as well.
but over the course of high school, they eventually found two others to join their band, and they had quite the little group going. outcasts, if you would like to label them. but, they went over well with the surrounding schools, playing at parties. they gained a small following, once even playing at a prom for one of the schools. their small hometown fame gave them a rock star complex, even though they were far from it.
landon's junior year the decided to record a demo. it was an underground, homemade studio, in some random guy that they paid fifty bucks an hour to's basement. it wasn't a horrible demo, though, and they started passing out the cds everywhere. nothing really happened, but the band was content with their small pocket of stardom.
