... There are a lot of reasons why people go to park, to walk the dog, or for the kids, or on a nice date. Cecilia however wasn’t doing any of those things. She has found herself sitting in the park at four in the morning, by herself, and not dressed exactly how a young lady should. It had been a long night. She had went out to party the way one does in Vegas, and ended up getting turned down by several bartenders no matter how much she batted those pretty brown eyes. Cecilia had gotten very good at getting bartenders to serve her, but that could only take her so far. When she was obviously already drunk they were a little more hesitant. But since she was already a little drunk that didn’t really keep her from pestering them all night eventually getting her kicked out of three whole bars in one night. Pretty badass huh?
Cecilia had had a pretty bad day. It was just one of those days where you feel kinda funky, and lonely. That was probably the reason for her just leaving her bandmates and stumbling out into Vegas by herself on a weekend and looking like she was looking. Cecilia hadn’t really put much thought into looking classy tonight. And since Cecilia hated being the center of attention her outfit was especially abnormal for her. She had decided to wear a rather tiny black skirt with a pair of white stripper heals, which were keeping her from walking very well. Her shirt was a white tank top that was more lace then actually cloth. It’s very safe to say that Cecilia had been drinking a little too much today. Most of it sadly had been at the bus.
So, back to the park. Since Cecilia hadn’t had much luck with trying to get booze she decided to just give it up and go to sleep. Sadly she was lost, and at this point pretty intoxicated. This wasn’t like Cecilia, yes she did party, but not like this. She wasn’t the type to be dressed like a hooker in Vegas, in a park at 3am. She was the kind who got a little tipsy at a club, with a group, and take a cab home to go right to sleep. Not end up sitting on a bench and having no way to get home. Cecilia wasn’t exactly drunk since she left the bus at twelve, so most of it was out of her system, now leaving her just feeling a little sleepy.
Cecilia looked around at the empty park, which was almost totally lit up from the blaring light of Vegas. She had her knees pulled up to her chest, and her chin resting on them. The bench was pretty splintery and extremely uncomfortable. Cecilia was really starting to regret not wearing anything with pockets or bringing a purse that was big enough to carry her sidekick. Cecilia had been walking around for a good hour and her feet were the main reason for her admitting defeat. She pulled off her white stripper shoes and threw them on the ground sighing pretty loudly. “Alright” She muttered to herself. “Once I get home I’m going back to sitting on the bus and smoking weed”

this magical attraction talks to my body
Late night, or early morning, depending on who was being asked, was a time when a lot of creepy people entered the streets and began lurking around. However, the boy who was walking back to his bus at that obscene hour was not a creepy person in any way; in fact, he was a rather nice, normal person (save for those times when he was being a douche). So, there wasn't any chance that Donghae, the vocalist of 59 Seconds, was going to be partaking in anything that was, in any way, creepy or weird. He was just on his way home after a night out, having a blast, pretty much. What else could be expected from a twenty year old man? Everyone went out to do something fun; some people went to bars to dance and drink and meet people, and others went bowling or for ice cream with a friend. Hell, there were even some people who went out for coffee or tea on their own with a book, sitting in a small café with dimmed lighting.
All those things, however, that wasn't Donghae's style. Well, actually, he did go to bars, when he could. But, he preferred to just meet up in a small place with a few other people, maybe go swimming, and drink a little bit. So, that was what he had been doing that night. It wasn't exactly a "bush party" but it was just a few of his good friends from Vegas that had gathered around together in a segregated place where they were drinking a bit here and there. It was funny how he seemed to know people all over the place; it seemed to be an Asian thing. It wasn't that he only hung out with Asian people, because he didn't, it was just that they always seemed to find one another no matter where they were situated. So, that was why he knew those people; he'd met them the last few times the band had been to Vegas.
Jump to earlier in the day when Donghae had stumbled out of his bunk. He was waking up at noon, the true role of a rock star. He remembered when he was living at home, and his brother would force him to wake up in the early morning, to go and exercise with him; it was extremely annoying! But, now that they were on tour, he didn't have his brother bothering him all that much anymore. In fact, he seemed to be sleeping more and better now. Sure, he still had to deal with his brother, but he didn't have to deal with the other boy waking him up all the time, or else he would feel Donghae's wrath! Anyway, he'd woken up around noon, and he'd showered and got dressed and did all that other important stuff before he decided to go out and get food before meeting up with some people.
Cut back to Donghae drunkenly walking back to his bus, laughing a bit to the person who was standing next to him. "Saranghae, chingu!"
Donghae slurred as he talked to his friend. He simply said "I love you, friend" in his native tongue of Korean. His English wasn't yet perfect, so when he spoke, there was always that Korean accent of his, which some people found completely adorable and others thought just sounded silly. But, Donghae didn't care what others think, so it wasn't a big deal. "Annyeong! I'm leaving here!" the boy cried, before waving lazily and splitting off from the other. He decided that he was going to cut through the park, before he made his way home. Donghae pulled a water bottle from his backpack, gulping some down as he walked. He was dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, Nike high tops, and a white t-shirt with a black vest over top. Donghae had put quite a lot of time into putting his outfit together. It was something that he cared about a lot, so obviously he would put time and effort into looking nice, right? Anyway, so he walked through the park, looking at all the scenery there, and smiled to himself. He loved Vegas; it was so lively! There was never a dull moment for Donghae when he was on tour. Mind, he spent a lot of time with Vodka in a bag and sneaking a drink here or there, even when he was supposed to be going on stage he would sneak a drink, which was a problem. But, anyway, these habits of his kept him from constantly being bored. As he wandered through the park, Donghae noticed a girl sitting on a bench. He wondered why she was there, looking a bit lost, and he approached her, trying to see who she was. Sure enough, it was someone he knew. She was in that one band with Jester and Zackary; at least he thought that she was. Anyway, she looked pretty familiar, so he was sure he knew her... Oh, yeah, it was Cecilia all right. Donghae approached the girl, and he sat down next to her, flinging his arm over her shoulder, looking at her with a grin. "Oh, hey there pretty lady. What're you doing out here all alone at this time of the night?" Donghae said in as seductive a tone he could manage in his current state. Yes, he was drunk, and yes, he did seem like a creep at this point in time. But, he just hoped she would recognize him, because if he got hit, that wouldn't be fun. ... Cecilia sat there when her head on her knees, feeling absolutely exhausted. The bench just seemed to get more and more uncomfy the longer she sat there. Cecilia squirmed and folded her arms in every possible position trying to get comfy. She was pretty sure at this point that she would just pass out, here, on a bench, and tomorrow try and find her way to the bus. But if the bench was going to be her bed for the night it seriously needed to change. Cecilia could feel one of the boards rotting away right from under her, and she was getting way more splinters in her ass then necessary. Cecilia shifted again feeling like she could fall through, and she started picking off strips of wood out of the bench mostly out of boredom.
Cecilia felt like she had sat on this bench for hours. She went from laying down, to sitting up, to laying down. There was no way to turn this bench into anything remotely like a bed. Cecilia started wondering how homeless people did this. Cecilia had been homeless once, when she was seven, and had run away from home. It was because her mother refused to get her any Christmas presents or anything because she didn’t want the holiday season to be about getting. Since Christmas is about getting, Cecilia packed her shit and went to find a house that would give her stuff. The trip ended with her sleeping in a slide at a park and her mother calling the cops in a panic. It was safe to say that Cecilia got a lot of presents that year.
But being homeless then seemed like a lot more fun. “My ass hurts” She whined to herself mostly. Shifting around again. She was thinking about just laying down in the grass and sleeping, but she knew her hair would get all dewy in a few hours, and she would probably look like a dead body. Lifting her head to strech out her neck she turned to see someone walking closer to her. Yes, this made her a little nervous. Creepy ass night. Creepy ass city. Drunk, and tired small girl with no defense besides the heel of her shoe, and a creepy ass man walking towards her. This was the perfect situation.
Cecilia thoughts about running but she knew that if he wanted to kill her he would catch up. Then she thought about playing dead, but since he could see her moving that wouldn’t work either. Cecilia was stuck, and in a small panic Her mind was a stream of cussing as she thought of all the horrible news stories about those girls who get murdered because they were places they shouldn’t be. Cecilia didn’t want to be ‘missing nineteen year old. Last seen passed out at ass-o-clock on a bench’. That just wasn’t her. Her small panic attacked quickly worsened as the man seemed to notice her, and then start to walk over to her. Towards her direction. Cecilia could see pretty well but since most of the lights were behind him she couldn’t make out his face very well. He looked skinny with dark hair, but not exactly the murdering rapist look. From what she could tell from the way he walked it was very inoffensive. Maybe he was lost too, maybe he could help her
Cecilia couldn’t help but be a little more panicky when she noticed it was Donghae from 59 seconds. Yes, they were friends. Well friendly. Donghae wasn’t the nicest guy she’d ever met, which Cecilia normally couldn’t stand, since kindness was important to her, but she had made an exception. Mostly, because, well he’s cute and asain. But the reason that this had made everything worse was the he was the last person she wanted to see her like this. Cecilia had not forgotten the fact that she was dressed like a total whore, and was drunk, on a bench, and in desperate need for help. Since Donghae’s and he’s relationship wasn’t exactly nurturing she wasn’t sure whether he was going to laugh at her or be understanding. Since the slight swagger in his step was showing he was a little drunk too she was hoping for the latter.
Cecilia blushed when he called her pretty lady, she’s a sucker for compliments. They make her happy, she wasn’t sure why. Especially from men. “Umm hey” She stammered not sure how to start off the conversation. Cecilia was unnaturally shy, and even more so when she’s like this. She found herself tugging her skirt down and glancing down to make sure her chest was covered. “I got lost, and I’m really drunk” She said obviously. “Please tell me youre going to the buses, and you have some water.” It went hand in hand, being drunk and wanting water.

this magical attraction talks to my body
Donghae wasn't the kind of boy who usually ended up sitting in the park on the way back to the bus. Mainly it was because he didn't feel like sitting around in a park on his own all night. He was a very sociable person, and the only reason he'd stopped was because he saw someone that he knew. He'd some this sort of thing plenty of times; stumbled through parks, drunkenly trying trying to find his way back to the bus that his band was currently living on. The boy wouldn't exactly say that he loved living on a cramped up bus with a bunch of his closest friends, but he did enjoy it quite a bit. There wasn't anyone other than the band members that he wanted to spend his time on a bus with, and they got to make music so it was pretty fun for him. Donghae enjoyed touring, because he not only got to meet new people, but he got to see a lot more of the world than he would have if he had gone with his mother's plan for his life.
The main downfall that Donghae had for the rock star life was the alcohol. Sure, from time to time he might smoke a joint here or there, but alcohol was his drug of choice. It was getting to the point where he was becoming an alcoholic. It didn't matter what time of the day it was, but he would drink vodka or, if he was in the mood for a change, he'd have some beer. But, he seemed to like liquor more than beer, because it was generally stronger. He'd been notorious for appearing on stage drunk once in a while. And while it had started off as something that was innocent, he was getting a lot worse. Donghae seemed to be increasing his alcohol intake a lot more as the months continued. It didn't matter if the location changed, his habits were staying the same all the time. Would he give up the alcohol, or would it get worse? What if Donghae wasn't willing to give it up, would he risk losing the one thing he loved the most, which was his music? Those thoughts never crossed his mind, not even once.
Despite common belief, however, Donghae was probably the furthest thing from a pervert. Sure, he wasn't a virgin, he made some sexual jokes, but he wasn't as promiscuous as people thought he was. In all actuality, there was a reason for that, and there was a reason why he didn't have sex with girls, but he wasn't willing to admit that to anybody. It was his dirty little secret that nobody knew about. But, Donghae was rather proud of his lifestyle, and he didn't understand why some people ran when they saw him coming, because it wasn't like he was going to try to jump their bones or anything. He looked at the girl who he was now sitting next to, looking at her outfit, smirking a little bit. Well, that must have been embarrassing for her, being seen like that by someone she knew, but he was sure there was a reason for it.
He listened to her as she spoke, taking in all the words that she said. Actually, he looked a little bit like he was about to pass out or throw up listening, but he didn't have to puke, and he wasn't really that tired. His senses were heightened from the alcohol making him strangely aware of all the things that were going on around the park. There was a sound of a dog barking somewhere, and the sound of cars passing by could be heard as clearly as glass was. When the girl said that she had got lost, anyway, he laughed a little bit to himself. It wasn't a malicious laughter, it was just the kind of laugh that someone makes when they find something sort of cute in a way. "Firstly, yes, I do have water. Secondly, I was going back to the buses; but I got distracted by a girl on a bench."
Donghae said with a flirtatious tone of voice. The boy put his bag on the ground in front of him, pulling out a bottle of water, handing it to the girl. He came prepared for these situations; anything he could do to fight a hangover. Although, you would think for someone that was on the road to alcoholism that he would be in some kind of eternal hangover and that he was able to cope with the side effects of alcohol usage. Well, that was only because he knew all the steps to take in order to keep himself from getting too hungover. And on occasion that he was so drunk that he could barely move, or that he was puking his brains out, well, he sometimes questioned his habits of drinking, but would end up rinsing his mouth with vodka in the end anyway. Donghae rested his back against the bench, listening to the sounds of nature; actually there weren't many sounds of nature, since this city was so busy, even at this hour. This bench wasn't all that comfortable, actually. It was really uncomfortable, which shouldn't have been all that surprising to him. "So, seriously, what's with the stripper look tonight?" Donghae asked the girl with a laugh. He hadn't seen her as the type of girl who would be seen wearing something like that. "I mean, you rock it, obviously, but you always look hot, so..." And that was a classic thing for Donghae to do. He often let his sentences randomly end like that, leaving people to figure things out on their own. Maybe he was going to say something suggestive, but he would be the only person that knew that, now wouldn't he?
