Lindsey let out a long, drawn out, heavy sigh as she rummaged through the suitcase on her bunk. It had been so long since she had been out anywhere with a guy. Well she did live with guys, but it wasn't like any of them were linked romantically to her. They were pretty much her friends. Lindsey hardly hung out with girls. Emma was the only girl she could stand on this tour so far. "Come on, is it really that hard to pick an outfit?" She asked out loud. Her nerves were on the fritz and she was really irritated. She threw different articles of clothing everywhere. She usually had an outfit by now. After a few minutes, she settled on one that was at least half different.
She then changed into the new clothes and set to fixing her hair and adding a few accessories. She brushed out her hair and fixed her bangs to fringe off to the side. She then applied eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lip gloss. She wasn't sure why she was stressing so much over her appearance. She was sure Gage wouldn't mind what she wore. She shrugged it off and sprayed on a sweet smelling body spray. She then tugged on some flip flops and grabbed her bag. After checking herself over, she left the bunk area and headed for the front of the bus. She wasn't needed any more since her band had played their show and were probably out partying. She wasn't needed any more that day.
She stepped off the bus and made her way off tour grounds. The mall wasn't too far away from the site of the tour. At least she hoped so. They had changed locations and she needed to get used to everything. She had seen the mall on the way there. This was way before she had met Gage, so she was sure she could find her way there. After walking for about ten minutes, she arrived at the mall. She grinned and looked around, trying to find Gage. She hoped she was on time. She was excited started. She made her way to the food court and got a strawberry smoothie. She had been craving something sweet. She paid the man behind the counter and continued wandering around.
She decided to head back to the entrance and wait for Gage there. She didn't want to get too ahead of herself. She sighed and collapsed in a bench by the door. She leaned over, resting her arms on her knees. She took drinks of her smoothie now and then. She bit her lip and played with the bandanna around her right wrist. The other had gel bracelets. Running a hand through her bright orange hair, she leaned back against the bench and looked up at the ceiling. She really hoped she wasn't too early. That would just be her luck. tag;; Gage word count;; 482 muse;; decent outfit;; Here!

i got your picturei'm coming with you
Gage glared at the suitcase that he had under his bunk. Of course, he normally threw on some clothes and went, but today was a very special occasion. He was going to the mall to see one of the most beautiful girls in the world, and for some reason, he cared about what he looked like.. What's that? Her name? Lindsey. Lindsey Owens.
After a few minutes of difficult contemplation, he finally grabbed a newer, washed band tee. Tugging his gray jeans from the pile, he slipped those on as well. He glanced at his shoes and grabbed a pair of DC's that were gray and black. How hard was that? Pssh! Easy as pie!
His nerves were getting the best of him. He scoffed at himself and walked to the bathroom. After actually bothering to comb and even style his hair, Gage glanced at the bottles below him. Picking up one, he sniffed it, saw something and set it back down very slowly. Marco. Of course! He just had to pick up one of Marco's bottles of cologne. Then again, the kid did have like... twenty. After putting on a bit of his own cologne, he grabbed his hat and a sweatshirt and walked out of the door of the bus. Barely a step out of the bus, he turned around, threw the sweatshirt on Gideon's bed, took his own and walked back out the door. 'God! These guys are so disorganized.' Okay, so he was one to talk, but still. It bothered him how the guys would probably leave underwear out, had Roxy not been there.
As he walked, Gage thought about the dog that he was going to get Lindsey. It was going to be adorable, sweet, loving and cute. Well, actually. It was going to be Lindsey's choice, but Gage was most likely going to try to help her decide. He also began to think about what she had said to him. Her second wish. "I also want to be treated like a normal human being. Not some toy that can be pushed around and used, then thrown away." Shoving his hands in his pockets, Gage began to think as he walked to the Mall. It didn't make sense, though it probably would as time passed. He was confused about her statement. Treated like a toy? Used? Thrown away? The thoughts began to jumble around in his mind, so he shook them away, pushing the confusion away. He'd think about that later, most likely when he was falling asleep.
That tended to happen a lot. He would think about something, shove it off to the side and it would pop back into his mind at twelve o'clock in the morning. It was a bit annoying, but at least he could concentrate on something while his friends were, ahem... having a bit too much fun.
His mind slowly shifted from Lindsey's words to her features. An easy way to put it, she was cute. She had such stunning hair, wonderful eyes and an adorable smile. She looked good in anything she wore and he knew that she was an amazing person. She was kind and caring, but she was also scared. He would do his best to vanquish all of that fear, or at least as much as he could. He also realized that she was young. Though he still didn't know her age, he knew that she was too young to be with him. However, rules were made to be broken, and that's exactly what he was planning to do. Besides, what's life without a little fun?
Breathing in deeply, Gage noticed that he had gone too far. That was the cafe he was smelling, the mixtures of coffee and baked goods. It was all so sweet and tempting, but he needed to get to the mall in... two minutes. After glancing at his phone, Gage started to jog towards the mall. It was almost late afternoon and he was completely sure that he was going to be late, if only by a few minutes.
Once he arrived, he immediately saw her seated on one of the mall benches. Perhaps it was just because she had such bright hair, or maybe he just knew where she was. Either way, he made his way to Lindsey, and huffed a bit. "Sorry I'm late, I kinda went too far." He said to her softly. Then, he noticed her. Well, he had always noticed her, he just didn't notice how good she looked at this particular moment.
She was stunning, even if she was just wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts. The tank top fit her well, and the shorts weren't too long or too short. Lindsey had flip flops on that matched her top and her eye shadow. This eye shadow made her golden eyes pop, after all... Gold and purple are two contrasting colors. Her hair looked great as always and she was bearing a purple bandanna on one wrist, other kinds of bracelets on the other. Oh, and let me tell you. She smelled like heaven. It was like a mixture of sugar and fruit, a scent that Gage liked.
He looked at the smoothie and winked at her. "I think you wanna let me have a sip" He teased. Holding out his hand, the boy looked at Lindsey with a good bit of passion in his eyes. He smiled at her, and spoke. "Shall we? I believe there is a puppy over there waiting to be picked out." Gage nodded over towards the little pet shop. Okay, so his nerves were kind of bouncing off the walls, which he was used to, but this was one of the first times his nerves had been this bad. It was like he was going to fall over. He wasn't tense, quite the opposite. As he looked at Lindsey, his nerves began to die down.
"So, what kind of puppy are you thinking of?" He asked her, walking alongside the redhead. His steps matched hers perfectly.

Lindsey was beginning to get a bit worried. Her nerves were acting up more than usual. Her golden gaze was locked on the clock behind her, to the right. She frowned, wondering if she should get up and leave. Her paranoia was beginning to act up. She wasn't officially paranoid. But she was scared that this was all just a joke. She figured he wasn't coming and she would be left feeling an idiot. She sighed, wishing her ex hadn't done those things to her. It ruined her inside, she couldn't trust anyone. She was afraid of what happend those years ago would repeat. That's why she could only trust certain people. But she was sure Gage wasn't like her ex or any of the guys who followed who tried to get her, but failed.
She took a sip of her smoothie, trying to calm her nerves. After glancing toward the clock, she began to push herslef up out of the bench. Right as she was almost off the bench, a familiar voice rang in her ears. She dropped back down and looked up. She smiled up at him. Relieved that he actually showed up. "That's alright. I do that sometimes too." She assured, pushing herself up again. She was now standing in front of him. But the distance between them was pretty small. She blushed lightly and stepped back a little. She looked away, then glanced at her smoothie when he mentioned it. She smirked and held the drink to her chest. "No...I don't think you deserve it." She teased, looking up at him. She waited a for a moment, just to get a reaction. Then she gave in and held out the smoothie to him.
"Alright, but just a few sips. Don't go drinking the whole thing." She said after a moment. She hadn't drank much from it, so there was a lot left. She grinned when he mentioned the puppy. She moved to stand beside him and followed him toward the pet shop. She was excited to get a puppy. It would keep her company while her band played shows and partied. Though she did go with them a few times. The puppy would also be with her when Gage was out doing things with his band. Being a tech could be a pretty lonely job. She looked around, thinking of what kind of puppy she wanted. She couldn't get one that would grow into a big dog. She was staying on a slightly cramped tour bus for a good while.
"I want a fluffy one. He must be playful and sweet. I'm not sure what breed, but I obviously can't get one that will grow to be really big. I don't know. I'll know it when I see it." She replied, thinking over the possibilities. She could hear the whines and small meows from the animals inside. She tensed and stopped out in front of the shop. She didn't like pet shops all that well. She could only get one pet, but she'd feel terrible about leaving the rest behind. She wanted to adopt them all, but she knew she couldn't. She was sure they would get good homes. She hesitated, but stepped inside, looking around. This was going to be a really tough decision. tag;; Gage word count;; 547 muse;; decent

i got your picturei'm coming with you
In all honesty, he was kicking himself in the head, mentally. Gage felt like such a retard, no a jerk for making her wait for such a long time. Well, sure he was barely ten minutes late, but he still felt terrible. His eyes were completely apologetic, begging for forgiveness. His steady breaths were a little shaken, not by much, but just enough that he would notice. Lindsey probably wouldn't, but he knew. He tried to forget about his complete and utter stupidity and just have a bit of fun. After all, he was here for her, not himself.
While he walked in, he saw her head turn towards the large clock stationed on the wall across from him. The second he saw her, he saw her eyes. The looked relieved, a feeling that made his stomach clench. Gage realized that she had thought that he was going to stand her up. That thought in itself made his heart skip a beat, maybe out of fear, and his breaths to become uneven. Shaking his head a little, he watched the girl who he wanted to call, "mine." Her voice was still as quiet as ever. "That's alright. I do that sometimes too." In his own mind, he was disagreeing. She was probably ten minutes early, so he doubted that she would only be late in her own mind.
When she stood up, there were barely five inches between them. Gage's breath grew quiet and shallow. "Uh..." The voice that growled out of his throat was hoarse and deep. His eyes were locked on her petite nose. He couldn't look at her lips, or else he would dive right in. That was something he wouldn't do; it was something that she trusted in him. It was something he couldn't do. Lindsey blushed and stepped away as he turned his head and cleared his throat. Acting as if nothing had happened, he shoved the thought back in his head. She taunted him with the smoothie, so Gage gave a little puppy dog face. His lower, pierced lip stuck out and his eyes grew large. He moved his hand to his heart and lowered his head. Actually, he looked quite pathetic.
"No...I don't think you deserve it." Her angelic voice teased. With that, Gage completely lost the adorable, yet pathetic, look and dropped his jaw. Pouting, he sat down next to her and crossed his arms with mock. Sticking his tongue out at her, a twinkle in his eye shone. Of course, he was only teasing. If he had honestly acted like that, then all hell would break loose. A small hand holding a large plastic cup came into his peripheral view. It was the smoothie. He grinned and gingerly took the smoothie from her hands. "Alright, but just a few sips. Don't go drinking the whole thing." Gage nodded his understanding and put his lips around the same straw that she used. Okay, he felt a little devilish. He took three sips, no more than that, and he gave it back to her.
Once he mentioned the puppy, he saw her eyes light up and a grin spread on her face. That made him smile. He loved it when she was happy; she looked so perfect, almost cherubic. When he was backstage, everything was rather normal. They'd probably hang out a bit, he'd probably go have a rap-war with Donghae, but once they'd be on stage, Lindsey would be alone. She wouldn't have anybody .That's why the puppy would be perfect for her. Plus, as much as he wanted to, he wouldn't be able to be with her twenty-four / seven.
Her excitement was making Gage happy. It was also getting him a bit anxious. What if she didn't want the puppy, what if she couldn't decide. He didn't want to make her choose. what if none of the puppies were right for her. God, why couldn't he just buy the whole freaking store? They were all so cute and adorable! Erm... not to sound feminine or anything...
"I want a fluffy one. He must be playful and sweet. I'm not sure what breed, but I obviously can't get one that will grow to be really big. I don't know. I'll know it when I see it." He smiled at her and nodded. Once they were near the entrance, Gage saw her tense. He stopped in his tracks and slowly made his way back to her. He cocked his head a little and took a glance at her hand. Reaching out, he cautiously took it in his own. Hers was small and soft while his was larger and a bit rough. However, the felt like they fit together like a puzzle.
He held her hand loosely, trying to give her a silent signal. He wanted her to know that he was there for her. If she didn't want to hold his hand, she could let go. Gage saw her hesitate, but she walked in. He followed, with an empty hand. It felt cold and a bit lonely, now that Lindsey's hand wasn't in his own. Shoving them in his pockets, he decided to check out the store.
Looking to his left, he saw rabbits, dozens of rabbits. There were spotted rabbits, white rabbits, brown rabbits, gold rabbits, black rabbits, rabbits with puffy tails, rabbits with long ears, rabbits with big feet and rabbits with big teeth. Shaking his head, Gage smiled.
Looking to his right, he saw fish. One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. Quite right, indeed. There were large fish, beta fish, rainbow fish, monochrome fish, there were even shimmery fish. None of them would work, obviously. Fish were just too boring.
As taking a few more steps towards the back, he saw a mass of guinea pigs, mice and other rodents. Shaking his head, he turned another direction and saw some cats. There were so many animals, but he couldn't find the dogs. Feeling like an idiot, he realized that they were probably barking the hell out of themselves. following the sounds, he walked even father back in the store.
Dogs. So... many... dogs. They were mostly puppies. Any adult dogs were on in the cages closer to the door. As he made his way past the adults, he saw tons of little puppies. They were all alphabetically listed and coordinated by main breed category. Organization. Such... intense... organization. He passed anything that included large or lab. Although they were cute, they would be huge. No person would want a giant dog on their bus.
As Gage got to the "mini/toy" section, he glanced at all of the listings. toy poodle, mini yorkshire terrier, mini huskies, there were tiny dogs galore. A great deal of them were fluffy as hell. There was also a "terrier" section, but none of them looked like they'd work on a bus. Plus, they all barked with squeals the sound of mice... only loud. There was another section with pomeranians, chiuauas and shitzu, plus many others. Maybe one of those dogs would work.
There were only a few dogs that had caught his eye. Most of them were rather loud, but the ones that seemed to look right to him were the quiet dogs. However, he planned to let Lindsey decide... Wherever she was.
After finding her bright hair, he grinned at her. "Any ideas? These guys are cute as hell." Affection practically seethed out of everything here, even himself. Pet shops had such adorable animals. Why he couldn't buy every single pet, he had no clue. If he could, he probably would. He would probably make a freaking haven for all animals in the world.
Gage was rather glad that they were at a pet shop, not a shelter. Even though he loved helping animals in need, shelters just depressed him. It was horrifying to see dogs with their ribs showing, to see cats with their tails half gone, to see rabbits with torn ears, to see animals with patches of fur falling off. It was rather scary, a sight that he had no desire to see ever again.
Turning his attention back to Lindsey, he saw a look that he had never seen. It was a look of indecisiveness. That look almost made him laugh. Instead, he tenderly smiled at her. "What's wrong?" He cooed and raised an eyebrow, thinking about her smiling again. It was a face that he adored and would do anything to see again.

Lindsey bit her lip and kept her head down. She took the smoothie back and kept a firm grip on it. Her face was a lot redder than before. She shook the blush away and made her way toward the pet shop. Once inside she began looking around. She knew she was in the shop to look for a dog, but she spotted the rabbits first. They were in a pen with no top so anyone could reach down and pet and or pick them up. She picked up a long eared black and white rabbit. She stroked it's head and cradled it against her. She smiled, wishing she could buy him. With a long, drawn out sigh, she set the rabbit back down with others. She said goodbye and prayed that they would go to good homes. She passed by the guinea pigs and hamsters and peaked into their cages. She said hello and watched them, laughing as they played with each other and when the hamsters buried themselve under the bedding.
She ran her fingertips along the glass of the cages and made her way to the back. This was where the dogs and cats were kept. She had seen the larger adult dogs near the front and felt sorry for them. They weren't that old, maybe only a year. She still hoped that someone would want them. She felt bad for wanting a puppy when she could take an adult. She sighed and frowned, indecision crossing her features. She could almost cry at the thought of taking a puppy and leaving the adults to hope for the best. She bit her lip knelt down in front of a lab that was gazing up at her. She poked her fingers through the gaps in the cage and stroked his nose.
"Hey, Boy." She whispered, laughing as the lab licked her fingers. She felt bad, but they had the right personality and soon enough someone would be in to get them. The shop had a few empty cages like the one the lab sat in. They seemed to be good at selling the animals to good homes. She bid the lab good bye and good luck and stood up. She looked around and found Gage. She slipped her hand into his, so they wouldn't lose each other. But secretly she did it because she liked the feel of his hand in her's. She bit her lip and moved to where the puppies were kept. She looked over each of the labels and tilted her head. She didn't mind what breed it was as long as it wasn't a big dog. Maybe when she go home she would adopt a bigger one.
She peaked into each of the pens. She looked into one with huskies in it and grinned. She reached down and watched each puppy brush against her hand, yipping and wagging their tails. She laughed and picked up a red and white husky. It's face was pure white along with it's belly and legs. The eyes were pale blue and she grinned. "I like this one." She announced, rubbing noses with the puppy. She then carefully cradled the puppy in her arms and looked around. A frown came to her face when she saw an Australian Shephered of unusual color sitting alone in the corner of it's pen. She whimpered and looked up at Gage when he asked her what's wrong. "I don't know who to pick. I want this one right here." She said, lifting the husky up to Gage's eye level. "But I also want that cutie over there." She added, carrying the husky over to the Australian Shepherd's pen. He looked up at her with the same blue eyes the husky's only there was a slight mix of green in them.
She turned back to Gage, not sure what to do. She didn't want to chose and she was certain she could only have one for now. She sighed and looked down at the husky, then at the shepherd. "What do you think?" She asked, trying to keep calm so he didn't feel any pressure in deciding. She scratched the husky's ear and laughed when it yipped. She looked back to see the Shepherd up on his hind legs, front legs thrown over the top of the cage, watching her. She knew this was going to be a tough decision. She just hoped that some how the two would get a good home if she had chose one or the other. tag;; Gage word count;; 753 muse;; decent
